Login fail - with OpenSSL version 1.1.1b

edited March 2019 in OS installer

Hi, I have checked the recent thread were another user had the same issue as me with the login fail. However, just installing the newest version of SSL does not seem to work since the installer is not detecting the version.

Starting emteria installer v0.6-16-gc6254ca
Detected SSL support: false
- runtime version: ""
- build version: "OpenSSL 1.0.2j 26 Sep 2016"
qt.network.ssl: QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function SSLv23_client_method
qt.network.ssl: QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function SSL_CTX_new
qt.network.ssl: QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function SSL_library_init
qt.network.ssl: QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function ERR_get_error
qt.network.ssl: QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function ERR_get_error
"Error creating SSL context ()"

The windows CMD says this when checking my OpenSSL version.

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.15063]
(c) 2017 Microsoft Corporation. Med ensamrätt.

C:\Users\rickzzoorr>openssl
OpenSSL> version
OpenSSL 1.1.1b 26 Feb 2019
OpenSSL>

After this I am clueless, why doesn't the installer fetch my SSL version?

Best regards,

Rickzzoorr

Copy the libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll files to the program's installation folder.

  • I think OpenSSL 1.1 isn't backward compatible to 1.0.

  • Could someone help
