Battery Monitor?

I have just installed the android OS on my raspberry pi 5.
I am currently powering the raspberry pi from the gpio pins with a 5v power source from a battery.
The battery monitor in android obviously shows it at 100% and charging, probably by default.
I was wondering if there was a way to change this percent from code/via the gpio pins?
