Hi
I'd expect that an "industrial android" would come with a library for GPIO and low level bus access. We've already wasted quite a bit of time porting and building a libwringPi.so against the NDK and it's currently only working via /sys/class/gpio. There is simply no/dev/gpiomem on Emteria.
It would greatly speed up things for your customers if you'd ship Emteria with such a library.

    Yes, it is still missing. Along with a bunch of other industrial extensions we had in RTAndroid. We are very interested in bringing them back eventually, but the overall system stability is of a higher importance right now.

    However, adding support for /dev/gpiomem isn't a big deal. We will add this to the next release.
