Bash: Exec Format Error

when i try to run the installer (the Linux installer), it says

bash: ./Emteria.OS_Installer-x86_64.AppImage: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error

OS: Debian Linux 9
Processor: Intel Atom
the command i am using: ./Emteria.OS_Installer-x86_64.AppImage
(run as user root)
