Kuman 3.5" LCD Touch Display

Hello! I have bought this display https://amazon.it/Kuman-Custodia-Protettiva-Raspberry-Riproduzione/dp/B075JBZJDF/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1526247514&sr=1-1&keywords=asin%3A+B075JBZJDF for my Raspberry Pi 3 B+ and run on emteria.OS in perfect way and i love it, the only problem is that I have no touch input as Settings say "no touch device detected". As for now the only way I have to move around the os is using an external mouse and drive around the icons. I've also tried the method used by this guy on that thread (https://forum.emteria.com/discussion/366/remove-mouse-pointer-cursor-to-use-touch-only), modifying resolution and X, Y with 0 success. Someone can tell me how i can fix that as i would like to use my raspberry as a "portable" device? Thx in advance to who will reply.

  • Hi sorry I don't have answer to that but can you tell me how you got your display working? because I have a small 3.5 inch display and did not know how to make it work with these android images as the display shows power when plugged in but just a white screen and nothing else and I don't know how to make the drivers work since they are based on a 'real' linux which require sudo.

I don't need touch screen just to be able to view the screen.

  • just plugged in into GPIO port fitting perfectly the frame of the RasPI (screen borders must be perfectly alligned to raspi frame) and plugged the HDMI to HDMI connector which come into the box, plugged my 3A power supply and turned on, that's all
