Bluetooth usb adapter

Anyone know of a Bluetooth USB adapter that actually works with Emteria? I have one plugged in and it looks like it’s recognized except I can’t figure out which port it’s using.. I tried disabling the onboard Bluetooth and the OS won’t boot (Others reported they disabled onboard and things worked).

I tried disabling it via the boot/config.txt via dtparam =off

How do you properly disable onboard Bluetooth? It shouldn’t cause the system not to boot right?
