Synthesia on Raspberry pi 3 b+

Hi I am trying to make the app synthesia work on my raspberry pi 3 b+.

But it looses the midi connection.

I have another option to use Android M MIDI. But then it wont find my piano at all.

So my question is:

Does Emteria have any trouble with handling MIDI over USB ? and does it support Android M MIDI?
