micro G support on Emteria v 0.6.1
Hi
Just Opening a new discussion thread for micro G (https://microg.org/) support in Emteria, installation and issues etc.
Inital testing on Emteria 0.6.1:
1. Emteria settings -> enable signature spoofing
2. FDroid -> add microG repository (see https://microg.org/fdroid/repo) to download microG related apks.
3. Follow installation steps at https://github.com/microg/android_packages_apps_GmsCore/wiki/Installation
4. Android apps requiring Google play services should install/work fine (There could be issues as microG project is in heavy development stage.)
I tested it with one android application that was not getting installed previously because of Google play services not installed on Emteria OS. Now it got installed. So far no freezes. microG is very light on memory.
However, Need to test it more. Anyone would like to share their experiences on this ?
Any issues ? if features such as location working ?
@kalkov ?

Able to install YouTube Go. working well.
This sounds promising.
Has anyone setup Blankstore ?
@sgrayban i installed only FakeStore.apk.
what does fakestore do ?
i think just to fool the apps to believe that they are talking to Google Play store.
ok
So I got to playing with this today and it's rather nice. I was able to install a few paid android apps that didn't work before but do now. So I am rather happy with it.
@sgrayban, did you install BlankStore?
I did but couldn't figure out how to use it.
So I created backups on my phone and used adb to install them.
Here is a interesting article about using the Official PlayStore and microG

@kalkov @sgrayban : Can we have a "Roadmap" section somewhere for upcoming features.
That's up to Igor.
We definitely should create a section like this. I'll think about what is the best way of doing so.
@RPI, you got unifiednlp working?
@RPI, Please ignore that, i got it working by using xposed.
If anyone was able to make it work without it just let me know.
I got MicroG working using a flashable zip called NanoDroid

Best of all, it doesn't seem to slow the system down like OpenGapps.
