RS232 to USB problems after restart

edited February 2019 in Supported devices

Hi everyone,

I got a app in autostart of Emteria, the app will work with the FDTI drivers with RS232 to USB. If i restart my Emteria and the app will start, i need to disconnect the USB RS232 cable and plug it in again.

Got anyone an idea to fix this problem?

I work with a Raspberry Pi 3 B+

Best regards :)

  • The question is here: does the application enumerate all the USB devices when it starts or just listens to system notifications (both approaches are described here: https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/connectivity/usb/host#discovering-d). Obviously, if it only does the second thing, it won't be able to work if the device is already plugged in when the application starts. Unfortunately, this question must be answered by the original application developers.
