Plugable Brand BT Adapter

edited June 2019 in Supported devices

Hello all,

I am new to using Raspberry Pi so I am trying to figure this all out. But I am using a Ras PI 3 B running Emteria Android OS and the Bluetooth is not working. After reading some threads I picked up a plugable brand Bluetooth 4.0 dongle. I am trying to figure out how to get it to detect the dongle since the on board BT does not work.

Any help would be great!

Thanks

  • Android is not really good at supporting different hardware for the same task at the same time (different screens, different BT or WIFI adapters, and so on). We are looking for hardware we could integrate drivers for instead (since it would disable builtin BT), but we didn't yet find anything universal to fit all the different use-cases.
