Is the Emteria file system readonly?
I am trying to create a directory in the /boot directory to install my lcd drivers. When I issue the command mkdir, it says the file system is read-only. What do I need to do to enable directory creation?

You can remount the partition at runtime if you wish, but I wouldn't recommend you doing this. Put the sdcard into your PC and do it there.
