Video Hardware Encoding for RPi Camera

Hello,

I am trying to use an app which sends video from the camera to the internet. In the current build of Emteria 1.1.0 the video is stutters before eventually freezing. I assume this is due to lack of hardware encoding. Is there any update on when we can expect hardware encoding?

    None of existing Android distributions known to us support hardware encoding for video stream. Here is what LOS FAQ says:

    Not working:
    Hardware video decoding & encoding

    We have no ETA for this feature so far.
