Dear All,
how do you use the UART with Emteria?

I have installed Emteria on IOT Artist Board with Raspberry CM3 and I would like to send and receive bytes with the UART.
I downloaded "sample apps serial" for Emteria Github but it doesn't compile in Android Studio:

A problem occurred configuring project ': app'.
java.lang.NullPointerException (no error message)

    We have recently updated the project to support the latest Android Studio version. Should work better now
