is it possible to install a Pimoroni OnOff SHIM
under emeteria Android or is there another alternative
to disable Android at the push of a button.

Not really sure. I suppose you could try it out. Not really sure what you mean "disable Android". You mean to turn it on/off? If so, I reckon it would work no problems.
