@ArianRivvrRam no issues here
How do you activate: credentials or license key?
Check if hosts and ports are reachable: https://emteria.com/kb/emteria-hosts-and-ports
I have tried both' both ways is not allowing me. I've confirmed my internet connection is fine as I'm able to browse in bromite. I'm clueless what am I doing wrong, I've tried everything
I'm on my home wifi, ive tried using my phone hotspot even, i have nothing blocking on my local router nor my ISP
@ArianRivvrRam The RPi4 seems to have worked.
For the RPi3 the error is misleading. The device has been registered by another user. Devices can only be managed by one user at a time.
@smieschek yup that's what I was talking about, the rpi3 is the same rpi3 that I had registered under my other license under a different account name, which was nishirams@gmail.com, what happened was I was asked to update my pi3 during my last install and after updating, it refused to boot up. So I reinstalled a fresh copy of the latest emteria for pi3 then the issue started that I couldn't register it after installation. I then tried with a new account I created which is this account arianrivvrr@gmail.com and the same thing happens.
Yes I also have a rpi4b so I tried with it and it worked with this account.
I don't know why the rpi3 just refuses to register with both the accounts keeping in mind that this same rpi3 was previously registered with the same ID used before the fresh install
Any idea why it does that?
The RPi3 is registered under another account. Not the two you have mentioned. You should only have one account.
During the registration of a device a license is assigned to it. It's no problem to reflash the device, but you need to use the same credentials or license to activate the device.
Well that's weird because I only have 1 account previously and I'm pretty certain my previous install of emteria was using the same ID (nishirams@gmail.com). It was the only account I had
