Variscite VAR-SOM-MX8M-MINI Support?

Hi there -- I'm trying to determine if there's any support now or planned for the future for the VAR-SOM-MX8M-MINI module.

It's close in terms of hardware to the TECHNEXION EDM-G-IMX8M-PLUS, which shows up on the hardware page. However, it doesn't seem supported through the Emteria installer. Does this mean there is no current support for the IMX8M processor at the moment?

If there is no support right now, how much of an effort would it be to make a custom build for the VAR-SOM-MX8M-MINI module?

    We currently don't support the VAR-SOM-MX8M-MINI module, but you are right it looks very similar to the TechNexion board, that we do support. It's not in our installer, because the TechNexion board comes with a preinstalled installer, so that manuell flashing with our installer is not necessary.

    There is some effort to make a custom build in that case, but it's manageable. I think it would be best to setup a call so that we can talk about your use-case, requirements and deadlines. Would you mind to send an email to sales@emteria.com to setup such a call?
