Disable status and navigation bar
Hi All,
Is there a way to actually disable the status bar and navigation bar in kiosk mode?
(or provide a work around within an custom app)
I already disabled the back and home buttons in the kiosk mode settings, and both bars are already hidden by default.
But as soon as I swipe from the top down or from the bottom up both bars appear again for a short while.
And when I swipe a few times with a few second both bars don't even hide again!
I have an application which is ran in full screen as autostart in kiosk mode.
But each time the status or navigation bar is visible the touch area underneath them is not usable.

@Futience that's not possible. That's the Android behaviours that swiping shows the bars and constant swiping keeps them shown. You have to handle it in your app that the bar's are hidden again: https://developer.android.com/develop/ui/views/layout/immersive
