Touch screen configuration

Hello! I recently bought a Raspberry pi 3 with the idea to put it inside my car to act like an infotainment system. I installed Emteria OS successfully. The camera works perfectly. The only problem I have is to configure the touch screen. Currently I'm using a USB mouse I'll definitely need the touch. The raspberry and the screen I bought from here - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Raspberry-Pi-3-Model-B-Board-Kit-5-Inch-LCD-HDMI-USB-Touch-Screen-5V-2/32801172263.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.41a04c4dz3dSZw . As far as I can see, the screen is from 52pi, 5 inches, which I managed to find in your website that it's supported. But I couldn't make it work. Could you help me somehow because I'm new to working with Raspberry and stuff and honestly have no idea what I can do. Thank you very much in advance!

  • We support the official 52pi screen out-of-the box. If yours doesn't work, it is probably a different one. You need to find out what driver is required and we will try to integrate it into emteria.OS. However, we had some bad experiences with non-standard drivers (which are not yet included into the mainline Linux), so there are no guarantees.

  • I bought a 7 "SKU: Z-0017 touchscreen, which is factory-compatible with Raspberry Pi. That's true under Raspberry, the touch does not work with any calibration exactly. After installing Emteria, the touch does not work. knowing it is here, the experts will surely help, I unfortunately did not get it.
