Please try another sdcard adapter. We receive similar reports, but we can't reproduce such errors in our lab.
Hi,sorry for late reply.
i used about 4 SD Cards, bought new SD Cards with new adapters and all the same.
i tried Samsung, Sandisk and sandisk alter, 3 different cards from each group each one with its own adapter, also tried the SD Cards with the Lap Adapter built-in and the same.
is there any other way to put burn the images into the SD Card?
Hi Tamer,
for me it sounds a bit that the issue is not the SD card (or all of them).
If I see this part:
+00:22 (, 0) Using zip file at "C:/Users/user/AppData/Local/Emteria/Installer/rpi3-v0.5.0/boot.zip"
+00:24 (, 0) Failed writeRaw: 0

+00:24 (, 0) error in mz_zip_reader_extract_to_callback
+00:24 (, 0) Failed extracting zip file: write calledback failed
+00:24 (, 0) Failed unzipping file
...it sounds like that the archive is not valid or complete maybe.
Are the files (zip archives) are existing in:
+00:10 (, 0) Package base path: "C:/Users/devta/AppData/Local/Emteria/Installer/rpi3-v0.5.0"
...that is the place where the installer stores the zip files of the partitions temporarily.
Please try to find that archives at this position and also try to open them with 7zip or another zipper if possible. Please try to check the integrity of the archives. If they are corrupt, maybe the download was not successful.
Another option could be to use Linux instead of Windows to create the SD card.
No need to reinstall the whole PC completely - don't worry.
Install "Oracle VirtualBox" on your PC - it's free. After that, create a virtual machine on your PC with it and install Linux. Maybe that helps you out in case Windows forsakes you.
Good luck,
Sascha
what is your exact Windows version - Windows and build number?
Do you have a zip tool aside the Windows standard archive capability installed (e.g. 7zip, winrar, etc.) - if not install one of them as a test.
Best regards,
Sascha
have your SD cards that space available - should be a 32GB SD card?
+00:10 (, 0) Drive: "SDHC Card" with 31914983424 bytes
Are you able to copy around that amount of data to the card via Windows explorer?
Not that you bought (a) fake SD card(s)?
BR,
Sascha
hm, compared some of the different topics about that issue...
It seems to be that the issue appears with different diskpart versions - will mean with different Windows versions.
Unable to reproduce sound unlikely, Running into similar problem, purchased an emteria license to set up a rpi 3+ to play music for my 82 year old grandfather, in about 20 hours in so far, no less than THREE windows 7 pc's bricked and unable to use any card reader (at all) after running emteria os installer. Internal card readers no longer work on any of the pc's (all 3 had working internal card readers before starting), as well as 2 external card readers tried on the sames pc's with sandisk and PNY microsd cards. Pardon my language, but what the hell is wrong with this software on win7 64 bit? Why is it breaking my computers and spitting out failed to write anything at all? After this message, all the card readers on all the computers cease to function. Can I get a refund and a gift card for geek squad to fix all the pc's your software broke?
i had the similiar problem during flashing the SD card on windows 10, changed adapter & sd card didn't fixed the issue, after a long search i just found out that autorun option of the windows interrupting the flashing software, during flashing emteria software mounting and unmounting new partitions on sd card and it triggers the window's autorun option. Just go to the control panel and disable autorun.
It solved my problem maybe it could help you.
Well, unfortunately, I have this problem, and I have tried all the solutions available on the Internet with lots of adapters, Windows, Linux, but with two quality cards I can not start, but I really should.
stessi problemi vostri.. Credo che bisogna installare la versione a pagamento
Dino! Can you explain more what you mean?
@obero
He said same problem, maybe you need to install paid version.....
However I had the same problem and it turned out my USB external hub was the problem and when I disconnected that and only had the sdcard in a usb adaptor was I able to burn the image.
I have a paid version, I have tried USB, Card reader, but no one to write the picture. You can not format the card, delete partitions
Ok I'm going to try and understand what you wrote.
Are you using Microsoft, Linux or IOs ?
Second Have you removed anything that is using a USB port then tried to write the image ?
I'm sorry to translate.
I've tried everything I've found on the web. This is a bug report and can not do anything with the card.
I really did expect an answer, but Kalkov had no response. I wanted to put Emtera again when this error came out. I can not believe there is no solution. I do not want to throw it out.
It works until RECOVERY. But then he can not go any further. Can not the other parts be recounted?
@obero Please respond in your language. I'll have google translate it for me..
Unfortunately I can not use SSH on Emtery. It's complicated for me.
I downloaded Terminal Emulator.
Megpróbálta a GParted?
https://gparted.org
As I said, I tried everything I found on the net.
Can not you copy the missing files to the last two partitions?
Then the SDCARD isn't supported. Not all are. I know that the Samsung EVO Select are and I use them. They are a class 10 card so that's what Emteria requires for the spec.
Have you ever used SD Card Formatter? I also had the same problems and after I formatted my SD card, emteria.OS installer started to work on well. I'm flashing the SD card.
p.s. I have Samsung SDHC Class 10 32GB card and Win 10 x64bit
Using a laptop with Windows 7 -> emteria installer recognized micro SD card and started to prepare installation but failed to write image.
With the same micro SD card and card adapter, but using another laptop with Windows 10 -> succeeded.
