    Is it my computer?

  • I can confirm I am having the same issue and my log file looks the same (just I was using a 8GB cart instead of 16), ending with "Failed writing partition content for "boot""

  • Is the card write-protected?

  • I don't believe that it is, it's a 16 GB Class 10 SDHC Sandisk card.

  • It looks like the diskpart procedure didn't work correctly. Can you try running the installer procedure again?

Failing that, you can also try running "clean" on the drive in diskpart manually before the process.

  • I have the same issue with 16GB card non protected and formated...I tried also the "clean" option in diskpart and get the same error. (see log file)

  • did someone manage to fix this problem?? I have the same issue

  • If possible, please try using another sdcard adapter. BTW: there is a new version of the installer available. You may want to try it too.

  • Hello same issue for me this week-end with the same SD card I previously installed 0.5.2 a week ago. (see my other post).

  • Please update your installer

  • I have installed the latest version of the installer today, for the first time, and very disappointingly got a similar error:

    +04:34 (, 0) Using zip file at "C:/Users/cmale/AppData/Local/Emteria/Installer/rpi3-v0.5.5/system.zip"
    +11:17 (, 0) Failed writeRaw: 0

    +11:17 (, 0) Failed unzipping file
+11:17 (, 0) Failed writing partition content for "system"

How can I got about resolving this? or do I have to wait for another version of the installer?

  • Ok so I ran installation the second time and it worked. This time I didn't reformat the disk with clean. Out of frustration I just did it again and it worked.

One other thing I did which I don't think has anything to do with the success is logged onto emteria's website. Highly doubt it effected the outcome but worth mentioning.

Is it possible this issue has to do with some sort of timeout while writing?

  • I wanted to rewrite an older installation, but I got this error report. What should I do to get the installation done? this is a 32GB 10th grade quality appendix.
