Failed to flash card

Gets most of the way through flashing the new card and then crashes. Any ideas?

Any help appreciated..

Comments

  • Such problems are typically caused by the card adapter or some sd card problem. But I have never seen this specific one before.

  • I really need help on step 1: installing the image on an SDHC card (Sandisk 16GB). It is a proven card and reader/writer. The error log indicates something about Preparing phase being problematic. Any help will be appreciated. Is it perhaps a SDHC card issue?

    hi @GSM ,
    What do you mean by "It is a proven card and reader/writer." ? Can you give more information on the SD card and please also take a look at https://emteria.com/kb/microsd-cards
    But I don't think it's an SD card issue. It seems that DiskPart was not able to remove the drive, which is necessary for flashing. There is no sure way, but things that might help is to restart your PC and try again. If that doesn't help you can unmount the drive in windows disk management.
