usb camera resolution

pi5 new install
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but the OS seems to work ok however Bromite crashes regularly with "Oh snap" which isn't particularly helpful. Duckduckgo doesn't load and goes to the open page... Very disappointed. Lineage at least works! -
Battery Monitor?
